Per L'Equipe, the LFP are set to investigate Mbappe's case against PSG, as he believes he is owed €55m. The report claims that the commission is in possession of several documents that will be investigated, and both parties will be called to explain their position.
Mbappe's agents are reported to have already warned PSG that they must pay his wages by June 30, which clearly did not happen. As a result, the World Cup winner, who joined Real Madrid on a free transfer after his PSG contract expired, and his lawyers are now eyeing formal legal action.
Mbappe has already played twice for his new club in La Liga but is yet to score his first goal in domestic action. He did score against Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup, however, as Real Madrid won 2-0.
Real Madrid face Las Palmas on Thursday. They are currently fifth in La Liga, having opened their season with a win and a draw.
