Move over, Harry Kane! Jamal Musiala becoming 'face of Bayern Munich'

Bayern Munich are 'very confident' of tying Jamal Musiala down to a new contract and making the wonderkid the new 'face' of the club.
Bayern Munich director Max Eberl has insisted that he sees no reason why Musiala would want to leave the club anytime soon, with talks over a new bumper contract already on the way.
Eberl has insisted he is 'very confident' of a renewal and believes that "something is happening" at Bayern, with Musiala likely to become the face of the club if he signs a new deal.
Musiala has just under two years remaining on his contract with Bayern and, having so far resisted any attempts to tie him down to an extension, the 21-year-old has admitted he would be "open to anything" after links to Manchester City emerged.
“There was not just one meeting, we’re in talks," Eberl said when asked about negotiations with Musiala. "I’m very confident. Something is happening here and Jamal is noticing that too. He’s an exceptional player, and alongside Josh [Kimmich] and a few others he should become a face of Bayern. We told the player that too. And now we are looking at how we can reach an agreement. I’m an optimist and I see no reason why he should leave Bayern."
Musiala will miss Germany's Nations League fixtures this week after picking up a hip injury last week.
Bayern will be hoping to have their talismanic forward available for their next game against rivals Stuttgart next weekend, although no confirmation has so far been made over Musiala's fitness.
