ST. GALLEN, Switzerland - Denmark's Christian Eriksen scored one goal and set up another to help his team draw 2-2 with Switzerland. The Swiss were pegged back twice in their Nations League A Group 4 clash on Tuesday, leaving the Danes in second place on seven points.

The Swiss are still at the bottom of the table, but they did manage to get their first point of the campaign after three straight defeats. Group leaders Spain qualified for the quarter-finals with 10 points after a 3-0 win over third-placed Serbia, who have four.

Switzerland took the lead in the 26th minute when Remo Freuler reacted quickest in the box to lash a loose ball past goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel. However, the lead lasted just over a minute as Eriksen chipped a quick free kick into the path of Gustav Isaksen, who scored with a first-time left-foot shot.

The two quick-fire goals were met with a heavy fog rolling in across the pitch, but it didn't stop referee Umut Meler from seeing that Switzerland's Breel Embolo was fouled by Patrick Dorgu just before the break. Zeki Amdouni made no mistake from the penalty spot, making it 2-1 for the hosts.

Dorgu had a chance to even things up early in the second half, but his shot was ruled offside after a VAR review. Eriksen was there again, though, coolly placing a cushioned shot from Pierre-Emil Hojbjerg's lay-off in the 69th minute.

The Swiss had a goal from a corner disallowed because the ball went out of play before coming back in again. Despite having plenty of possession, the home side couldn't find a way to win, and the game finished in a draw.
