22-year-old Cole Palmer was born in Wythenshawe near Manchester and is currently one of the most exciting English footballing prospects.
Along with making his England debut, the 2023-24 season saw the attacking midfielder hit the headlines with his dazzling performances with Chelsea as he found the net 25 times in 45 appearances across all competitions.
Eagle eyed fans will have notice that the winger sports two flags on his football boots with the player’s father hailing from the Caribbean island of Saint Kitts and Nevis.
Palmer is highly proud of his roots with the flags accompanied by two cold emoticons (shiver) which related to the Chelsea player’s renowned gesture after finding the net, the so-called ‘shiver celebration’.
The Chelsea player rubs his arms after scoring every goal as if a feeling a chill and this contributes to the player being called on occasion, ‘Cold’ Palmer. The winger maintains that the celebration was inspired by former Man City colleague Morgan Rogers.
