76ers loss to Clippers goes from bad to worse with viral social media slip-up

Just when everyone thought it couldn’t get any worse for the Philadelphia 76ers, something like this happens.

After the Sixers lost their 13th game of the season to the Los Angeles Clippers, which only further puts their season in doubt, they posted a graphic of their final score that has instantly and thoroughly received plenty of scorn.

At first glance, it looks like any other standard graphic a team would post after their game ends. However, an unfortunate font theme places the F and the I close enough together that…well, you can just look at the tweet.

Since the graphic was posted on X, many fans from all over the NBA have pointed out the poorly shaped word on the picture itself and laughed.

It’s safe to say the Sixers will probably think better than to use it the next time they post their post-game graphic. Sadly, there’s more to it than this.

It just keeps getting more embarrassing for the Sixers

If everything were going right—or even just okay—for Philadelphia, a slip-up like this would be simply laughed off and not treated like a big deal at all. However, after losing yet again, instances like these feel like more proof that everything that could have potentially gone wrong this season has gone wrong in Philadelphia.

Having that include the little things that don’t mean anything, including the post-game graphics, just feels cruel at this point.

But, as they say, “The night is darkest just before the dawn.” Perhaps this will serve as the moment when the Sixers pick themselves up and turn their season around. Or, this is just something the Sixers can laugh at in the future sometimes, and it has no impact whatsoever.

Either way, for everyone else, this is hilarious. For the Sixers, this was avoidable humiliation.
