Bruno Fernandes scored a hat - trick, enabling Manchester United to comfortably secure a 4 - 1 victory over Real Sociedad and advance to the Europa League quarterfinals.

The French team Lyon, having easily won 4 - 0 against Steaua Bucharest, will be United's opponent in the quarterfinals.

In the first leg, Manchester United and Sociedad had a 1 - 1 draw. In the second leg, United fell behind 1 - 0 after 10 minutes.
