Fulham are close to completing the signing of Manchester United target Sander Berge.
The Athletic report the west London club have agreed a fee worth £20million plus £5m in potential add-ons. With personal terms agreed, Berge and his agent Morten Wivestad will travel to London as the player is scheduled to undergo a medical on Tuesday before finalising his move to Craven Cottage.
He will become Marco Silva's fourth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Emile Smith Rowe, Jorge Cuena and Ryan Sessegnon. The Whites have been on the market to sign a new midfielder following the departure of Joao Palhinha, who joined Bayern Munich.

United meanwhile, had seen an opening bid rejected by Burnley, which is reported to have fallen short of their valuation. The 26-year-old had emerged as a a target for the Reds as they look to strengthen their midfield this summer.
Erik ten Hag is thought to be unconvinced by the current options at his disposal with the likes of Christian Eriksen and Casemiro linked with the exit door this window.
Berge did not feature in the starting XI nor among the substitutes as Burnley cruised to a 4-1 victory against their Premier League opponents from last season. When asked about Berge's absence from the squad, Scott Parker told reporters that the Norwegian had picked up a slight knock which was enough to keep him out of the squad entirely.
With Berge's move to London, that has put a stop to Fulham's pursuit of Scott McTominay. The midfielder had been the subject of two bids from Fulham this summer, while Napoli are eyeing a potential loan deal with the club’s president refusing to rule out a move.
Even if McTominay stays beyond the summer, United are looking to strengthen their midfield options before next next week's deadline. The club are working on a deal for Paris Saint-Germain’s Manuel Ugarte, who is understood to be a top target for the club.
